Certificate of Professional Competence
It is a legal requirement that all Goods Vehicle Operators, or a member of their staff, must prove that they are of 'good repute' and professionally competent before an Operators licence can be applied for.
To acheive this recognition, the operator, or a member of their staff, must successfully undertake the CPC examinations and gain the Certificate of Professional Competence in Transport Managementat the appropriate level (National / International).
Please note we do not run courses in Passenger CPC, although we can arrange exams. We do run highly successful Freight CPC Courses.
Course
National: 8 days (Monday to Friday, Monday to Wednesday) with the examination the week following the Friday
International: 4 Days (Monday to Thursday) with the examination on the Friday
Other training centres may offer shorter courses, please remember YOU have to PASS the exam, a shorter course does not mean a better exam pass rate, it means less training for the exam.

Examination
The Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR) Examination Board set and administer the examinations to assess the professional competence of those wishing to enter the Transport or Passanger Industry.
These examinations are conducted four times a year, normally in the months of March, June, September and December.
